1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

BODE Araç Kapı Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“COMPANY”) attaches importance to the privacy of visitors to its website and the protection of their personal data.

This “Privacy Policy” has been prepared to provide general information about personal data processing activities that may arise during use of the website at www.bode-global.com.tr, the web technologies used, and the COMPANY’s fundamental approach to privacy.

This Privacy Policy does not replace the privacy notices required under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

Detailed information on the processing of personal data is provided, according to the relevant data processing activity, in the applicable documents published by the COMPANY, such as the “General Privacy Notice”, “Employee and Job Applicant Privacy Notice”, and “Camera Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy”.


2. DATA THAT MAY BE PROCESSED THROUGH THE WEBSITE

During use of the COMPANY website, the following information in particular may be processed depending on the nature of the relevant interaction:

  • Technical and online usage information: IP address, access time, browser and device information, web server access/error logs, and technical information concerning website usage.
  • Contact information: If the user contacts the COMPANY through the website, full name, e-mail address, telephone number, company/organization information, choice of the relevant team/unit, message content, and other information submitted by the user.
  • Job application information: CV/résumé, contact details, education, professional experience, and other information relating to the application submitted by the candidate in connection with a job or internship application.

The COMPANY does not sell personal data obtained through the website for advertising purposes and does not conduct commercial profiling based on personal data.


4. COOKIES, ANALYTICS AND EXTERNAL CONTENT

Strictly necessary / functional technologies are used for the operation of the COMPANY’s website and for the implementation of user preferences.

The COMPANY uses Google Analytics 4 for the purpose of generating statistics relating to Website usage and evaluating Website performance. Google Analytics and related analytics technologies are activated only where the user has explicitly consented to analytics cookies.

An embedded map service provided through Google Maps is available on the COMPANY’s contact page. Google Maps is not loaded unless it is explicitly activated by the user through the “Show Map” option. If the service is activated, IP address and similar technical information relating to the device / browser may be processed by Google for the technical operation of Google Maps.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND EXTERNAL LINKS

The COMPANY website may link to or integrate third-party services or content in order to provide certain functions.

Where third-party services are used, data processing activities carried out by the relevant service provider within its own systems may also be subject to that provider’s own privacy and data protection practices.

A lin on the COMPANY website to a third-party website does not mean that the content, security, or privacy practices of that website are controlled or guaranteed by the COMPANY.

Where the use of third parties established abroad or services provided through infrastructures located abroad results in the transfer of personal data abroad, such transfers are separately assessed under Article 9 of the KVKK and the applicable legislation.


6. DATA RELATING TO CHILDREN

The COMPANY website is not designed as a website directed at children. The COMPANY does not intend to carry out any specific collection of children’s personal data through the website.


7. RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION

Personal data processed through the website are retained for the periods prescribed by applicable legislation and for as long as required by the purposes of processing, in accordance with the COMPANY’s “Personal Data Processing Inventory” and “Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy”.

When the retention period expires or the reasons requiring the processing of personal data cease to exist, personal data are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with applicable legislation.

Retention periods specific to the relevant data processing activities are explained, where necessary, in the relevant privacy notices.


8. DATA SECURITY AND MEASURES TAKEN

The COMPANY takes appropriate administrative and technical measures pursuant to Article 12 of the KVKK in order to prevent unlawful processing of personal data and unlawful access to personal data, and to ensure the secure retention of personal data.

Such measures may include access and authorization management, network and system security, logging, protection against malware, security controls, backups, and similar measures.

Data security measures are periodically reviewed taking into account the nature of the data processed, the systems used, and the existing risks.


9. RIGHTS UNDER THE KVKK

Data subjects have the rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK in relation to their personal data. For the methods and required information concerning applications to the COMPANY under these rights, the “KVKK - Data Subject Application Form” may be consulted. Detailed information on the processing of personal data by the COMPANY is available in the “General Privacy Notice”.

11. UPDATES TO THE POLICY

This “Privacy Policy” may be updated in line with changes in legislation, changes in the services and technologies used on the website, and the COMPANY’s operational and information security requirements. The current version of the Policy is published on the COMPANY website.
